Build a House with Plastic, Win $250
WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 21, 2011 – A web-based application provides users an opportunity to build their own home in an interactive contest for home improvement products. The interactive house shares the benefits of plastic products in homes as part of Plastics Make It Possible: www.plasticsmakeitpossible.com.
The “Explore Our House” button reveals several rooms of a house in which users can find links to household products made of vinyl and other plastics, and learn on how they can build a comfortable and sustainable home.
The “Design Your Home” feature allows users to select vinyl and other plastic products to design a bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and living room. When the house is finished, users can name their home and submit their design with an e-mail address to enter a contest for a $250 gift card from Home Depot.
The Vinyl Institute represents the leading manufacturers involved in the production of PVC/vinyl resin in the United States, and promotes the value of PVC/vinyl products to society.
